About Ron
Cybersecurity engineer, AI builder, flight instructor.
Background
I'm a cybersecurity professional with a focus on building infrastructure that defends and operates itself. My work spans enterprise security architecture, AI-powered autonomous systems, and compliance frameworks — always with a bias toward hands-on engineering over theory.
The CyberFlight lab is where I design, break, and rebuild the systems I write about. Every project documented here runs on real hardware in a production-grade environment — not cloud sandboxes or theoretical diagrams.
When I'm not in the lab, I'm in the left seat. As a Certified Flight Instructor, I teach the same principles that drive good security engineering: checklists, situational awareness, and always having a plan B.
Philosophy
Good infrastructure should be observable, auditable, and boring. The interesting work happens in the design — once deployed, it should just run. I build systems that page me less, not more.
